Imprint page

The imprint page (copyright page) is the verso of the title page carrying the book's legal and bibliographic details: copyright notice, ISBN, edition, publisher or 'independently published', and any legal disclaimers.

It is the one page with fixed conventional contents: © year and rights-holder, the rights-reserved line, ISBN, edition statement, and for fiction the no-resemblance disclaimer. KDP's free ISBN or your own both live here. Typesetting convention keeps it typographically quiet — small type, centered or ranged left — so it reads as record, not content.
